Topsy and Me......
Me, myself and I, Vickie, not something I usually put out there but have decided to put on my big girl undies and have a go!!
Married to David for more than half my life have 3 beautiful big children, I work at my local child care centre and love to create.
I love Christmas, I think it's the magic of it that hold's delight in all our hearts if we just take the time to look.
Now for Topsy
Topsy and I have been looking after each other since I was about 2 years old over 40 years ago. Topsy is an antique cloth doll made by the English company Merry Thought (meaning the wishbone from a bird). Topsy was made between 1930 - 1957 and had obviously had a life before she meet me but was destined to be my doll. I took her everywhere, I couldn't understand why she couldn't have a seat at the table for dinner (looking back I'm from a family of 9 and table space may have been limited).
So, Topsy has given me so much joy it seemed only right to include her in my crafting journey.
